Account
By setting up a user account at our faculty, every student and staff member can use the fast internet connection and 1GB of storage space for study-related work. A new email address will be set up at the same time so that every account holder can subscribe to the existing mailing lists and thus receive news about their studies and the faculty.
Information for first semester Bachelor / Master
As in previous semesters, the accounts will be created automatically based on the data you provided during enrollment and sent to the e-mail address you provided during enrollment.
Please refrain from individual requests regarding the processing status of your account. Thank you.
Labs
The computer labs (pool for short) of the Institute of Computer Science can be found in building 076. Access is only possible with an activated Uni-Card. Currently, the two rooms are accessible around the clock. There are currently 25 workstations with Linux as the operating system available in our computer rooms. In addition, the computer can also be used with the bwLehrpool system. Also other workspaces that are kept free offer enough space for learning together or for using the WLAN. Laser printers are available in the computer labs.

In addition to instructions and documentation on software, the central web server or remote login options, as well as an overview of available multimedia rooms, large-format printers and other services at the faculty, you will find an overview of the responsible technicians.

During the lecture-free period, the office (opposite the upper lab) is staffed on Tuesdays between 11:30 and 13:30.
